...at the foot of the glacier, with views of the imposing mountain range at the end of the Tuxer valley.
180 km of signposted walking tracks, rock and ice climbing, swimming in thermal baths, mountain biking and of course skiing on the Hintertuxer Glacier.
The different composition of the mountains on either side of the valley gives the landscape in Tux its particular attraction, appealing to both hikers and high alpinists alike.
Out of the door and onto the piste! The Rindererhof is right next to the Hintertuxer Glacier lifts.

- Zillertal exit, highway B169 to Mayrhofen
- Tuxer state road to Hintertux (Zillertal exit to Hintertux 50 km).
The Tuxer state road from Mayrhofen to Hintertux is accessible year round.
Chains necessary with ice and snow conditions!
