Ski school

In order to guarantee you a comprehensive and complete offer for 365 days a year, the ski schools and Happy Hintertux Skiing Lanersbach have merged with the Tuxertal. The ski school Tuxertal (named Pichlsberger and Wechselberger) guaranteed quality and safety in winter sports.

Registration

Please contact us upon arrival at one of the course one of the ski school offices. You will receive all necessary information including ticket prices.  Registration is also possible via our receptionist.

Beginners

Every beginning is difficult and sometimes scary, however, our experienced ski instructors are highly skilled at instructing and guiding you in modern-ski techniques in a safe and relaxed manner on simple slopes.

Full day care

Day care is provided daily (except Saturday) from 10.00am to 3.00pm. Lunch is provided. Care services by appointment: 9.30am - 3.30pm.

Day care provides ski lessons by qualified instructors: with a 10-step learning path, your child can learn skiing with a playful approach. Their improvements will be documented for the parents. Children under 6 do not need a ski pass.

Every Thursday we hold a big BOBO-Race event. All Children  receive a certificate and a medal.

What to bring:

Sun protection, sun or ski goggles: IMPORTANT! Weather and temperature-appropriate clothing:warm cap or headband, good gloves, possibly Ski underwear, warm socks, etc.)

IMPORTANT: NO long pointed cap-hats. Long hair must be braided to minimize personal injury at the lifts.

Best equipment for your children:

Helmet is an absolute obligation. If necessary, the ski school will provide free of charge the appropriate helmet.

Kindergarten for guests
For the non-skiing child (ages 1-3): Children too young, or having no desire to ski? No problem. Our Day Care skilled teachers will fill their day with playing, walking, sledding, building snowmen and a host of other fun events. The Day Care is also open at Christmas and from 9.00am till 4.00pm.

Children Pick up Service

An additional free service to the ski school Tuxertal. The Bobo Express picks up the kids in the hotel, or at assembly areas/meeting place in Hintertux, Madseit, Juns, Lanersbach and Vorderlanersbach and drives them to the Ski school meeting point or the day care in Lanersbach and returns them after the course.
 

Private lessons
Would you like to improve your technique or your style? Learn ski racing (with modern tilting sticks technique). Try  a new winter sport device, or just want to plan a day according to your wishes? Let us know. Your ski-experience wish is our pleasure!

Our winter skisport professionals are also here to support your special needs. The Ski instructor is happy to pick you up by the hotel.

Private lessons

Ski Alpin Group lessons aduldts and children

Fulltime/All day lessons á 4 Stunden
10.00 - 12.00 am, 1.00 - 3.00pm. Half-day lesson á 2 hours
10.00 - 12.00 am.

Minimum participants per ability (level):
5 persons

The renewal rate is valid after 3 days of lessons within the same week.

Advanced course

Practice makes perfect. The courses in different levels will improve your skills and your technique. After a short ski demonstration, you will be assigned to an appropriate group.

Snowboard courses:

Whether you are young or old, ride the first board with a professional snowboarder, who knows snowboarding.
There are groups for every need:

Handicapped

The development in a disability sport, regardless of the nature and severity of the disability, is to experience the fascination of skiing.  Advanced innovations in this sport make it possible for physically disadvantaged individuals to experience the thrill of skiing. The ski school Tuxertal  supports this development and offers lessons by specially trained instructors.
